Check out this website to learn a little more about A.L.S. Scott who has suffered with schizoaffective disorder since 2009. Schizoaffective disorder is a mental illness that can be debilitating.  However, it IS possible to receive effective treatment and medications that can make anyone's life more positive and productive. A.L.S. Scott has been in remission from schizoaffective disorder since February of 2017. She is grateful to God, her husband, her parents, and her treatment providers for the effective management of her illness. On May 17, 2019 Scott was hit with yet another diagnosis.  Scott was diagnosed with a pituitary brain tumor. At this time, her doctors are watching the tumor and have decided NOT to perform surgery. About A.L.S. Scott

Thank you so much for supporting A.L.S. Scott! Scott writes rhyming children’s books.  However, adults seem to like her books as well.  ALL the characters in Scott's books are based off of REAL people and REAL events that she's encountered in her life. Scott is also currently working on a fictional memoir, the true story of her life, entitled, " Understanding Crazy" , which is set to be released on Friday, October 3, 2025.   Interesting facts : Every one of Scott's books teaches children a character virtue which can be found on the front of each book and include but are not limited to: friendship, acceptance, patience, honesty, humility, self-esteem, and individuality. Scott has written approximately 28 books since 2003. So far, FOURTEEN have been published. Scott illustrates ALL of her books. Once you read one A.L.S. Scott book, you'll want to read her next release, and eventually, all of her books!
