Check out this website to learn a little more about A.L.S. Scott who has suffered with schizoaffective disorder since 2009. Schizoaffective disorder is a mental illness that can be debilitating.  However, it IS possible to receive effective treatment and medications that can make anyone's life more positive and productive. A.L.S. Scott has been in remission from schizoaffective disorder since February of 2017. She is grateful to God, her husband, her parents, and her treatment providers for the effective management of her illness.

On May 17, 2019 Scott was hit with yet another diagnosis.  Scott was diagnosed with a pituitary brain tumor. At this time, her doctors are watching the tumor and have decided NOT to perform surgery. Scott is determined to continue publishing and to keep a positive attitude.

UPDATE: October 5, 2024:  The pituitary tumor that was there is now gone.  Scott is praising God for the good news.

In 2021, A.L.S. Scott found out that an old injury had caused a major blood clot in her brain.  She went on blood thinners for the following year.  Scott, her family, and friends prayed for a solution.  Life seemed to throw Scott a bad hand at cards.  However, Scott bases her attitude on Jesus - not cards.

UPDATE:  In May of 2023, Scott came off blood thinners as the blood clot in her brain was greatly shrunk.

On December 7, 2023 Scott's neurosurgeon cleared her of previous brain tumor.  "This is truly a miracle" said neurosurgeon nurse.  Scott and her family are elated.  Scott says she is "forever grateful" to God for His healing power of her ailments.  She says God has restored her life 14-fold from all of the trauma she has endured over the past 13 years.  She compares her restoration to the life of Job in the Bible.  She says, "If you have ever faced obstacles in your life that seem insurmountable, just read about Job and you will find the courage to face anything."
